Chief of Police
The Whitehall Township Bureau of Police is a full service law enforcement agency providing quality service to the community. The Bureau is staffed by fifty (50) full time police officers and nine (9) civilians. The Bureau of Police provides a wide range of police services to the community including K-9 units and staffing to the Lehigh County Drug Task Force and the Lehigh-Northampton County Auto Theft Task Force. In addition, community policing services include DARE, Community Service Officer, and a School Resource Officer program, Neighborhood Crime Watch and a Citizen Police Academy. These specialized services are provided in addition to twenty-four (24) hour Township-wide Patrol and Emergency Response Services.

The Bureau of Police consists of the following three (3) Divisions: Patrol, Criminal Investigation and Administrative. A division commander typically supervises each division. The Patrol Division is staffed to provide the residents of Whitehall Township with twenty-four (24) hour patrol coverage and emergency response. The Patrol Division also provides specialized service such as Accident Reconstruction, a Commercial Vehicle Safety and Weight Team, Bicycle Patrol, and a DUI sobriety checkpoint operation. The Criminal Investigation Division is staffed by five (5) Detectives and one (1) Investigator assigned to the Lehigh County Drug Task force and one (1) Investigator assigned to the Lehigh-Northampton County Auto Theft Task force. The Administrative Division provides staff support to the Patrol and Criminal Investigation Division.
