Ever heard of the United Socialist State(s) of America? Well now you have. If you live on the North American continent, then you are in the melting pot. If you live in another part of the world, you are probably chuckling at this article as something you and your nation has known for some time and can’t believe that the stupid and blindly ignorant Americans can’t see it let alone believe it is really happening. There has even been a song and a book (both parodies really) about such a thing being possible, but I feel we are now living the reality.
I remember 5th grade history, being about the birth of this country and its symbols of patriotism and power. It was also about this country’s founding fore-fathers and the documents they created to make us the greatest nation in history. I am talking about the U.S. Constitution (which includes the Bill of Rights) and the Declaration of Independence. They were all based on degrees of freedom; freedom of tyranny (be it a monarch or other federal governing body), freedom to have an opinion, freedom to protect one’s self, freedom to worship without government interference or favoritism, freedom for the people to have the last word over the state or federal government, freedom from oppressive taxation, freedom to retain private property and such.
Unfortunately these symbols of patriotism (the Flag for example) and our birth-right documents have been legally trampled and disgraced over the years. There have been ridiculous demonstrations of the burning of the Flag, wearing the Flag inappropriately, walking on it and even flying it incorrectly! There has been a recent and bold mocking of the Constitution, by electing a president that is proven to not be a citizen of the United States. What is worse, is that Congress and the Democratic Party don’t even care that he is an illegal alien, by definition of federal immigration laws. This slow and purposeful degradation of our country and the way of life for its occupants has become a stark contrast to what was originally intended in the 1700’s, let alone from what was in the 1920’s! Oh don’t stop reading yet, the points are coming hard and fast in the next few paragraphs and they are from other sources to fuel this long-awaited post of conspiracy, hidden agendas and contemptuous treason of the worst kind.
Thomas Jefferson has got to be turning over in his grave since the 1930’s, when the whole destruction of his vision for this country began. Those dark times were marked by poverty, crime, disease, war and the birth of socialism in these United States. Franklin D. Roosevelt was the perpetrator of the “New Deal” which started the adoption of Marxism ideals, signifying that free enterprise and our democracy in a republic wasn’t enough to keep our fledgling country afloat. The country was drowning and why not have the power of the government help the citizens that had elected it to protect them in the first place? Sure, sounds good on the surface but the measures placed into action then were only meant to be temporary until the country could recover. But socialism doesn’t really work that way. Once implemented, the money being shuffled around by the new system was too great a temptation to let go of. The power and ability of the US Government was just being realized, why let all that power go back to the people? I mean the average US citizens are just cattle that don’t really know how to do much for themselves (which is how the depression mess started anyway), right? So the “Social” Security system was put on life support and dragged around (to this day) like a twice-dead cadaver. It is a place for the government to hide millions of annual dollars to be used as they see fit. Oh of course some actually gets used to help those less fortunate than most, but that is to level the salary playing field and spread the wealth.
The redistribution of wealth is nothing new, Obama is not original enough to come up with it on his own. Don’t be fooled, he isn’t bringing some holier-than-Bush change to this country, he’s playing the same democratic game that’s been played for decades. The really scary thing is that he is a lot more bold and open about it. Being black helps a bit too. I am not racist in the least, but he has already proven to flash the race (and gender) card when necessary. Dissension can be silenced in any way he chooses and if necessary, he can use the race card… so don’t disagree with his policies or you might be labeled a big racist. But I don’t want to get sidetracked with that topic too much, let’s get back to the misuse of power and the flamboyant rape of the American people.
Nearly a century after the Great Depression of the 1930’s, the country’s economy is at it again. The gross waste and bloated excess of the mega-corporations have brought us to this point of having the Federal government step in again and take more of our civil liberties away, all in the guise of “helping” the economy and the average consumer. Wall Street and quite a few of the big banks and lenders have been bought with too great a price that most people don’t understand. It is continuing on with the bail-out of the automotive industry too. Credit companies (lenders) are in bed with the auto industry (i.e. General Motors and Chrysler LLC) and what has affected one is hurting the other too. GM has been forced into bankruptcy and Chrysler has succumbed to the whims of the Fed’s guidelines for bail-out funds as well. So in all of this, there are a couple of the nation’s largest unions (thought to be friend to working men and women) that are now in the pocket of the government and under it’s direct influence (i.e. the United Automobile Workers and the American Credit Union Mortgage Association). It is the beginning of the end of free enterprise when a government has this much power.
Now let’s take a close look at the President’s recent influence of proceedings at the 2009 Graduation/Commencement ceremonies of Notre Dame this past month. There was direct violation of the Catholic church’s (and the school’s by the way) stance against the open pro-choice and stem cell research programs of Obama. It is overwhelmingly felt that honoring the man, who so boldly stands opposed to the Catholic church’s greatest beliefs of the sanctity of life, is wrong. Well, the fact that the school was planning on giving an honorary degree to Obama, the visiting commencement speech giver, caused such a raucous that the Catholic church and other legal protesters decided to have a showing of defiance to the lack of respect being shown by the school. I mean the Vatican is a well-documented supporter of the school and there were quite a few Bishops, Priests and students that refused to attend! There were also plenty of registered (as required by law) activists on hand to protest Obama’s appearance and the school’s presentation of the mocking document. Well, quite a few have been arrested for trespassing, disturbing the peace and having a direct and adverse influence on the festivities. I see that as the end of free speech and the right to assemble peaceably, or am I wrong?
The recent election of our new president also saw the increased spending plan (not a budget or stimulus, as it has been called) the likes that has never been seen before and in such a short time. I understand the mentality of needing to spend money to make money, but that is in terms of being a business owner that wants to generate more consumer business by advertising and other promotions. The fact that the president said to spend money to generate revenue across the board is a bit ridiculous in the current economic climate. I feel that it would have been better to pay down the federal debt, rather than spend away that money, which didn’t amount to a whole lot per person anyway. The facts remain to this point, that our government, being led by a marxist, is pushing forward with a socialist agenda that even the Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, has warned against. Regardless of what the government-led news media is trying to sell to Americans, is that Obama has been likened to Roosevelt. They are trying to say that Obama is attempting to save Capitalism from itself and its own self-destructive nature. I disagree. How do you feel about seeing this flying from the local public school or Perkins restaurant, instead of Old Glory?
